With baseprice for magento 2 your show will follow the german law “PAngV” (deutschen Preisangabenverordnung) to display products, with prices calculated by weight, volume, length or area.
Features
-
Displays the base price required by the German Preisangabenverordnung (PAngV): the price per reference quantity, calculated from the packaging quantity of the product
-
Two base price definitions per product, so an article can be shown as "9,00 EUR / 100 g" and additionally as "90,00 EUR / 1 kg"
-
Units: kg, g, mg, l, ml, m, cm, mm, m², cm², mm², piece, packaging unit and unit — conversion between the units of a measurement family is done by the module
-
Store defaults for packaging unit, reference unit and reference amount, so only the deviating products have to be maintained
-
The base price amount can be taken from an existing product attribute per attribute set (for example weight) instead of a separate field
-
Displayed on the product detail page, in listings and search results, in related, up-sell and cross-sell blocks, in the cart and mini cart, in the wish list, in the compare list, per tier price step, per bundle selection and per item of a grouped product
-
Configurable products update the base price when a variant is selected
-
Always calculated from the current final price, so special prices, catalog price rules and customer specific prices are taken into account
-
Can be switched on and off per store view
Implementation
Path: Stores → Configuration → CLEVER+ZOEGER GMBH → Baseprice
The group General holds the switch Enabled and the store defaults: default packaging unit, default reference unit and default reference amount — each of them also for the second base price definition — plus Maximum zeros at the end of the unit after the decimal point, which controls how the reference quantity is formatted.
Per product the values are maintained in the attributes baseprice_amount,
baseprice_packagingunit, baseprice_referenceamount and baseprice_referenceunit; the
second definition uses the same attributes with the suffix 2. Products without own values
fall back to the store defaults.
